95My application to post my photos was declined. Why?If your application to post your photos was declined, please don't take it personally! Applications are declined for only a few general reasons. Usually, it is because the applicant didn't list their social media profiles for verification, or has less than 10,000 fans / friends/ followers.

Applications also get declined if we think someone is just fooling around, or when it appears they have misunderstood our site's purpose.

Please review the information on the front pages of the site first. If you feel there must be a mistake, please contact us.
100Is this a new social network? No! This is simply a better way to share photos on social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, and others, because YOU GET PAID!
109What type and size images can be posted? We allow ".jpg" and ".jpeg" photos to be posted at this time. To make your photos look great on the social networks, your uploads should measure at least 600 pixels on the longest side. Larger and HD images are allowed, but cannot exceed two megabytes per photo.
110Are there any rules or restrictions on uploaded content? What am I allowed to post? The goal of this site is to create a *peaceful* bridge between the mainstream world and the world of erotica. We have all experienced the pain of being banned from social media for simply showing off our bodies. Getting banned means losing all of our hard-earned friends and followers! We have safety mechanisms in place to try to spare you from that.

Up to 5 photos per day may be uploaded.
Varied poses, sets, and/or scenes are required.
Repetitive "selfie" photos and rapid-fire sets will be rejected.

If you want to get an idea of what kind of content we can accept, take a quick peek at the top uploads this month by other 2Hot4FB contributors.

NOT ACCEPTABLE: The following content is not currently allowed on our network, and will be deleted by our compliance team without notice:

No anonymous, cropped, blurred or masked faces. Your head must be in the photo.
No close ups (full body shots only)
No spam or advertising (copyright watermarks or logos are ok)
No blood, urine, feces, spit, breast milk, or "squirt"
Nothing illegal, stolen, underage, non-consensual, or harmful to others

ALLOWED ON ALL SOCIAL NETWORKS: Photos matching the following criteria will be approved for sharing on ALL networks:

Nude or semi-nude
Sexy (but not sexual), softcore, artful, or glamour-style
No hands near vagina
Non-explicit titles and descriptions

EXCLUDED FROM FACEBOOK SHARING : Photos matching any of the following criteria will be blocked from sharing on Facebook:

Explicit "open" shots,
Hands near vagina, or any sexual touching of any kind, including masturbation
Sex toys of any kind
All sexually explicit acts (including bondage and spanking)
Any sexually explicit words in title or description, or in the photo itself

If you aren't sure about your content's acceptability, please check with us first!

After you upload your photos, you MUST use the editing tools provided to create a censored version of your photo. This may require cropping or covering body parts with stickers. If you do an inadequate job of censoring your photo, it will probably get flagged and removed quickly. (see next question)

111What are the guidelines for editing/censoring our uploaded photos before we publish them?We require all photos to have a "PG-rated" thumbnail version that is shown to viewers first, so that only those who request it will be exposed to adult content. (If you are only posting to Twitter, see next question.)

The simple rule is: Crop the thumbnail photo (or apply stickers) so that it shows no more of your nude body than if you were wearing a *regular* bikini or swimsuit.

LADIES: Barely covering only your nipples with "pasties" is NOT sufficient! The majority of your breasts MUST be covered.

Facebook is strict, so we must follow their rules. There can be NO NUDITY, NO SEXUAL CONTENT, and NO EXPLICIT WORDS on thumbnail photos! In this context, "nudity" INCLUDES showing female nipples/areola, vagina, penis/testicles, anus, ass crack, pubic hair (or lack of), taint, underboob, and sideboob. (It's simple, think "PG-rated").

Remember cropping your photo may make a more visually appealing thumbnail than applying large stickers.

Thank you for respecting our rules!

112I received an email saying one or more of my photos was flagged as inappropriate. What is a "Flagged Photo Alert"?First, RELAX! You are NOT in trouble! No one is upset with you, and no one reported you! A "flagged photo alert" just means that your photo needs a little more editing to pass the Facebook censors.

We have several safety mechanisms in place to help keep you from getting banned for your posts. One of them is that we require all photos to have a "PG-rated" thumbnail version that is shown first, so that only those viewers who request it will be exposed to adult content. (If you are only posting to Twitter, see next question.)

If you received a flagged photo alert, that means the thumbnail version of your photo is STILL too hot, so you'll need to edit it again and make it a little less racy. Remember cropping the photo may make a more visually appealing thumbnail than applying large stickers.

NO NUDITY*, NO SEXUAL CONTENT on thumbnail photos!

Thank you for respecting our rules!

*In this context, "nudity" INCLUDES showing nipples/areola, vagina, penis/testicles, anus, ass crack, pubic hair (or lack of), taint, underboob, and sideboob. (It's simple, think "PG-rated").

114Why do I have to censor my pictures if I'm only posting them to sites (like Twitter) that allow nudity? There are two reasons. First, and most importantly, is because CENSORED PICTURES GET MORE CLICKS! Curiosity makes people click censored pictures. Your audience will still click through to see your original photo even when you post a censored version.

The second reason is because of the "share-everything, everywhere" nature of this site, your pictures could end up anywhere. (Of course, you get more clicks and more new fans when others share your photos, so its a win/win for everyone).

150What devices can I use to edit pictures? You can use a computer, laptop, tablet or your smart phone (Android and iPhone).
190I uploaded a new photo but it's not showing on my profile page yet! Is there a problem? This is normal. New posts don't go "live" right away, to give you time to get everything just the way you like it. Review your photos using the "Manage My Photos" menu. You can edit (and re-edit) the thumbnail for your photo as much as you like. Your photo will remain "unpublished", until you click the "Publish" link to let us know you are all done. Only then will your photo be available for sharing and automatically appear on your profile, and ultimately onto the "Most Popular", "Most Recent" and "Explore" pages.
220What is a Traffic Boost and how does it work? You can learn more about boost traffic on this page: http://www.2hot4fb.com/boost/ Then you can see on the main page in the "featured profiles" section how boosted profiles appear to fans of the site.

The boost process works like this:

1) You set your public profile the way you want it to appear to fans, deposit any extra funds you wish to use, then create a "boost request". Your profile photo must be non-nude, and the text links must not be explicit. You are encouraged to use all five links on a boost ad.

2) All requests are quickly reviewed by our staff, and you receive an email to let you know when it is approved, or if any changes are required.

3) Once the request is approved, you will have a new menu option in your admin page showing your boost's current stats, including links that allow you to start (and stop) the traffic flow immediately.

4) If you change your profile pic or links during an active boost, it will be held temporarily for re-review (back to step 2).

5) You will receive another email when your boost request is complete.

The boost traffic option was designed for cam girls. From 1000 ad impressions, you could expect 120-150 visitors to your pages. (it obviously varies depending on the profile).
251What information is shown to the public? I don't want anyone to have certain private information about me. I'm concerned about privacy. We completely understand and share your privacy concerns. For that reason, we never display any information publicly that you do not wish to be shown. Model/contributors are provided a "public profile" page where they control exactly what information is shown to the public. Your real name, address, email, and earnings are all kept strictly confidential. We create a random number which is used to externally identify your account. Your username/email address are only used for sign-in purposes, and for us to send news and status information about your account to you.

Even with all that, if you are looking for COMPLETE privacy, this might not be the right solution for you still, as our entire purpose is to help people create fans by sharing (and getting their photos re-shared) on social networks. We cannot control who views or re-shares your photos, nor from which social network or search engine someone might find them.
280How do I stay out of Facebook Jail?FB is the 800-pound gorilla of social media, and where all the traffic is. FB is 20x bigger than all the rest, COMBINED. Focusing on FB will give you best bang for your buck, but it is also the most restrictive and most perilous for adult industry professionals. The idea of using FB for adult is to capture fans, then engage them until they like (and trust) you enough to BUY from you.

There is so much confusion about what FB does and doesn't allow. People say "I've seen other posts way worse than mine, and THEY didn't get banned!" Usually, that means they just weren't been banned YET. FB only bans people and removes pages which cause OTHER PEOPLE to complain. What FB really means by "Your post has violated our community standards" is actually "You made us waste our time responding to some asshole who complained about your post".

So don't give anyone a reason to complain!

Here are some of the things we've observed at 2Hot4FB that will help you stay out of "Facebook Jail".

Explicit nudity and "overtly sexual" content are obvious issues on FB. You can't even show a nipple! FB has an automated bot that looks at every pic posted to its servers, and it can recognize "nudity", so just don't do it! Also, sheer/see-through clothing, or touching your private areas (even over your clothing) are all potential trouble.

The biggest reason most people get banned isn't nudity, Its context and wording. For example, even an innocuous pic of a face, but with text that says "Come fuck my face!", and you will land in FB Jail. Watermarked photos can be ok, unless they are watermarked with "Come fuck my face!" Again, WORDING matters.

Save the DIRTY TALK and SEXUAL INNUENDOS for other places!

You can't use FB to drive traffic using marketing text in your posts, like FREE, SIGNUP, CLICK, JOIN, and BUY. For example, "Signup today and get half off!" is considered spam. You can link to a non-nude warning page, but linking straight to any page that shows nudity will get you banned. Your link can never be "one click to a tit". You cannot link to any site that uses pop-ups or pop-unders. Don't post more than 3 outbound links per day on your page. Don't share a post onto more than 3 pages or groups per day. Don't post the same link on your page over and over, even if months apart.

Closed groups are better than pages on FB for adult. You can force people to request to join your group, then reject any who look like trouble makers. Don't allow people to reshare your posts outside of your group. That gets you into trouble if the person resharing your post uses poor judgement.

I hope these tips help you to use FB more productively and stay out of "Facebook Jail"!
281What are some useful tips and tricks to help me succeed on 2Hot4FB?1) Share photos when people are online.
A lot of us like to post at 3am, but Twitter and FB prime times are 4pm to 9pm (east coast time.)

2) Don't bury your posts.
It's fun to chat, but let your 2Hot4FB post sit on top of your feed for an hour or more, so people don't miss it.

3) Share posts from your friends, and ask them to share yours.
Remember we pay you both, so why not help each other? If you are a photographer, give your links to your models to share with their fans too!

4) Don't spam.
Engaging with your audience goes much further than just saying "Click my links and buy my stuff".

5) Use the five free links on your 2Hot4FB profile to drive people to sites where you earn money.
Use the first link for where you want most of your fans to go.  Don't just send people back to Twitter.

6) Don't fear Facebook.
Facebook has 50x the traffic volume of Twitter.  2Hot4FB was specifically created to help adult models and photographers  post there without getting banned. We are here to help!

282When is the best time to post? Obviously, the best times to post are when the most people are online. For posting photos of an adult nature, early evenings and weekends are preferred. From our own observations, we believe that the following accurately represents the best times to post on each of the major social media sites:

Twitter  1-3pm weekdays
Facebook  1-4pm weekdays
LinkedIn 7-8:30am and 5-6pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Tumblr   7-10pm weekdays and 4pm on Fridays
Instagram  5-6pm weekdays and 8pm on Mondays with a sweetspot at 6pm
Pinterest  2-4pm and 8-11pm weekdays with weekends being the best
Google+  9-11am weekdays

Note: All times are Eastern Time Zone

300How can I explain the purpose of this site to other people? Here is a little more info that might help:
Ever wonder how Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Google make their money, since they don’t actually charge anyone to use their sites?

It is all made from advertising spots sold on their pages.

Every time you post, or tweet, or share a photo with your fans, you are actually WORKING FOR THEM, for FREE! You are providing the content that earns them millions of dollars, but you will never see any of it... UNTIL NOW!

Use the new 2HOT4FB app to upload and share your sexy photos to Twitter, Facebook, etc. We will host your picture, add a couple of ads onto the page, then split with you all the revenue those ads generate!

Nothing else changes at all! Continue using your existing profiles, and your same tablet, laptop, or computer. Post and tweet on any social network you like, as much and as often as you like. Delete your photos if you tire of them. You have complete control.

This is NOT a new social network! It's just a better way to share photos online. The only difference is YOU GET PAID. Even with a modest fan base, you will make money every time you post using the 2HOT4FB app! One contributor recently earned over $55 from just one quick post to Twitter... just one post!
